Why change the 19:35 standard? We’ve been reading about that for years.

HY+Q isn’t changing the standard; we’re proposing that the short-term goal be to beat the average. 19:35 is the ideal target because that’s what it takes to get 48 percent protein in the meal. But that’s usually an easy goal in some regions and impossible in other areas. A standard that won’t work everywhere because of agronomic reasons outside of farmer control doesn’t work.
